Supporting New Zealand’s communities

We believe in, and are proud of, New Zealand. We also think it’s important to be a good corporate citizen: giving back and supporting causes that have a tangible, positive impact on local communities. As an example of this commitment:

Auckland Philharmonia
Geyser Community Foundation

We’re a proud sponsor of Auckland Philharmonia’s ‘Hauora Music Experience’

The kaupapa of this project is to create a welcoming space where people can come together, connect, enjoy live music, play and sing along, and explore how music can support their wellbeing. Inspired by the Māori concept of hauora and Sir Mason Durie’s Te Whare Tapa Whā model, wellbeing is understood as a balance of four dimensions: taha wairua (spiritual), taha hinengaro (emotional), taha tinana (physical), and taha whānau (social), all grounded in connection to the whenua (land).

Through listening to music, creating music together with hand percussion instruments and voice, sharing kōrero and kai, and connecting through a shared musical experience, we aim to support these four dimensions of wellbeing.

In 2026, with increased support for the programme, the Hauora Music Experience now holds half a dozen events with many different organisations across the city.

We’re a proud sponsor of the Geyser Community Foundation’s annual awards programme

Geyser Community Foundation is part of a network of 18 Community Foundations of NZ that have been growing across Aotearoa New Zealand since 2003.

Amongst other things, the Community Foundation connects generous local people with charitable causes in the Rotorua and Taupō Districts and throughout the Central North Island.

Since launching to the public in Rotorua in 2008, and to the people in Taupō in 2012, the Foundation has awarded grants with a total value of $2.2 million to worthy causes across the arts, education, environment, family/whānau and community development in this region.
